A children's book? You've got to be joking.

Every time I think the TO storylines are completely oversaturated something even more ridiculous surfaces.

Remember when soap operas were on day time TV and wide receivers caught footballs?

TO just wants publicity, thats all. As long as he's producing on the field I couldn't give a crap what he does off the field.

well the media loves to talk about it, and people like yourself like to make threads about it, so its kinda contradictory, by you posting a thread, because i saw it and didnt think much about it....he's only as big as people who feed into it and make stuff a story

I'm sure TO has some very valuable advice to tell our children. Just live your entire life in the complete opposite way of his own and you'll turn out great!

It's called being a professional. What if everybody spoke their mind and not "hiding shit from anyone"?? :-? ?? This isn't commendable or cool, it's embarassing. T.O. is embarassing. He's a 32 year old child. Fortunately, he's so despised that very few people actually think that THAT'S what a grown man is supposed to act like.

:-o whats wrong with speaking your mind? that used to be a good quality in society, now it is frowned upon? Is it his fault that every meal the guy has is recorded by a reporter, or a blog somewhere? That ESPN has a huge man crush on him?

I don't understand why he is not allowed to speak his mind

How or why is it embarassing to you?
What has he done to embarass you? and if he is so dispised, why are marketing companies stilll endorsing him ?

Am I confused here?

TO Sells !!

ESPN knows it, ask Danika Patrick, ask Kournakova. Sells!

And do not for a moment think that TO doesn't know that too ;-D

no, speaking your mind WHEN appropriate is a good quality.

A lot of nastiness, insults, etc., can be under the guise "hey, I was just being honest."

How many people "speak their mind" when their wife or girlfriend asks if their butt is too big? How many would want total honesty abou ttheir physique, or sexual techniques or what have you?

The point being is that he lacks discretion.

Total honesty can also be brutal honesty if you want it to be.

So no, "just speaking your mind" isn't a commendable quality. In fact, back in the day people spoke their mind less and followed etttiquite more. It simply wasn't polite to just say whatever popped into your head.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
