So who's gonna be #2 now???

Obviously not Auburn - and USC doesn't deserve it after that squeaker against Washington. A lot of the pundits are suggesting Michigan or Florida. No love for West Virginia? Be nice to see my Wolverines get it - imagine meeting Ohio State as #1 & #2 - only way it could be better is if it was in the Big House!
Go Wolverines!!!

It'll be Florida. Why give WV love? Have they earned it?

It will definetly have to be ND. Ok seriously it will probably Florida or Michigan IMO. Actually USC might be put there.

Florda

Michgan i dont see ich. Jumping from 6 to 2 in one week.

USC played an underanked team, and florida did not play a buttercup team in LSU. I guess i could see Mich. Jumping USC and WVU, but not Florida.

Everyone is so down on USC, but they didn't have Jarrett for this game and SS left in like the third quarter.

Don't be surprised at all if USC is up there when the polls come out.

I agree but the BCS doesn't calculate who play and who goes out injured. The fact is USC has just sqeaked 2 weeks in a row to unranked WU and WSU.

I feel they have to move down because teams like FL went into a tough game and beat a ranked team pretty handidly. And the team held Auburn to 2 FG's. But the fact is they probably won't.

This is how my inexperienced self sees it:

Ohio St - No doubt here.
USC - The pac 10 officials will tweak the BCS computer to help USC move up.
FL - they will move 2 spots
WV - Haven't really played anybody. But also haven't lost so I see status quo.
Mich - OTher than ND they haven't played anybody. I see them moving up 1 spot.

1. Ohio St. - clearly there is no other candidate for the #1 spot.
2. Florida - has beaten good teams in Tennessee and LSU, plays Auburn and Georgia in the next two weeks.
3. West Virginia - hasn't beaten anyone, but hasn't lost yet either.
4. Michigan - have beaten everyone by 13 or more and dominated ND. Two tough games in PSU and Iowa coming up.
5. USC - haven't lost yet, but haven't looked great either.

I think it should be....

OSU
UF
WVU
UM
USC

But, the new USA Today poll is out and it's like this...

1. Ohio State (62) 6-0 1,574
2. USC 5-0 1,461
3. Florida (1) 6-0 1,412
4. West Virginia 5-0 1,398
5. Michigan 6-0 1,358
6. Texas 5-1 1,240
7. Louisville 5-0 1,207
8. Notre Dame 5-1 1,044
9. Tennessee 5-1 1,031
10. Auburn 5-1 958

Interesting to see that Florida got a first place vote.
