What did Mort report on Travis Henry??

Postby Will Herrmann » Sun Oct 05, 2003 11:27 am

I missed ESPN's Mort report where he was giving the very latest update on Travis Henry's status. Can anyone fill me in. I need to either roll the dice and start Henry, or else bench him and play Onterrio Smith.

Your FAST response is greatly appreciated!!

I wasn't watching but had it on in the background and could swear he said Henry was starting but wasn't sure how long he would play once he started taking hits.

He said he felt good and he was starting. Still I'd use caution, in one league I have no choice to start him and Hearst with Lewis on his bye & Thomas a little banged up.I'd start Smith over Henry.

Yeah, they said he is good to go, and will start. Still i'd be worried about his durability this week and if you have another decent option, I would take it.

CBS in Buff just said he feels good -- they had someone from the practice squad give him some shots in the locker room and all's well and he's going to start. They did talk a bit about the padding he's wearing and that it could be a fumble concern.

I'd say yes..... Henry is still a better start then a backup playing for Cin!
