No Talk of Leon Washington?

looks like this guy's on the brink of becoming the feature back. no love? no shout-outs? Hmm...

I haven't seen him play, but i'm left to wonder what kind of a runner he is (and might become).

Washington is a very explosive runner. I watched him at FSU alot behind their piss poor line and that's a big reason why he went so late. Had he actually gone to a team with a good rushing scheme and O-Line he coulda been a 1st or 2nd round pick. I'm not sure I trust him yet though simply because Curtis Martin could come back and take some carries..Not to mention Barlow has established himself as a decent goal-line back.

It is doubtful Curtis is coming back this year. Granted Leon earned alot of his yards today in garbage time but he definitely is the most talented back the Jets have. Barlow may vulture some goaline TD's but I expect to see alot of touches for Leon the remainder of the year.

Actually, he'll likely be back playing by week 10...this is according to Curtis Martin himself.
