KC Running Back Michael Bennett.

Bennett did not play a single play Sunday.

Why? Two weeks ago, he challenged OG Will Shields to a foot race after practice, just for fun. During the race, Bennett comes up lame with a hammy. He lost the race. He also went onto IR, and has now spent two weeks in street clothes.

In last week's game vs. SF, it didn't matter.

Yesterday, vs. AZ, LJ went down near the end of the game after a vicious face mask by S Rolle and was pulled from the game.

The Chiefs then lined up inside the 5 after a 15 yard face mask penatly, and desperately needed a back to pound it in and seal the victory. Where is Bennett?

Oh yeah. He can't play because he was jacking around 2 weeks ago.

In comes Dee Brown.

Hand the ball to Brown . . . result: fumble.

Brown manages to recover <<whew>>

Next play: hand the ball to Brown . . . result: fumble.

luckily, TE Jason Dunn manages to rip it away under the pile.

<<whew>>

Chiefs held on to the ball long enough to kick a FG.

Thanks, Bennett. Your screwing around almost cost a game yesterday.

GOOF. :-t

Brown should have never been in the game. It's questionable that he even belongs on an NFL roster. So he doesn't get the goof. Bennett does.

Bennett isn't on IR. He's just been inactive.

Starting Colston over Jennings.

Starting KC over Jacksonville.

Both of these looked like the smart thing to do but cost me high points this week and a win.

I had almost as many pts on my bench as i did with my starters.
On my Bench:
Greg Jennings
Chris Chambers
Travis Henry
Jacksonville
M. Barber
Tatum Bell
Grossman

now im 2-3 and feel like my team should be 4-1....grrrr!

He has been listed as inactive for the reason listed here. He was deactivated due to a hamstring injury and for being an idiot.

Didn't really have any goofs this week. I played Colston, but that wasn't a goof... he just didn't have a good week. Played G. Lewis, but there really wasn't anyone else that I would have realistically played instead of him. My 2 regular wide receivers, Bennett and Driver were out. Played Dillon as well, but my backup (Barlow - now on the waiver wire) didn't do any better, so it ended up not being a goof... just me bumming that Dunn was on a bye.

Going into panic mode when I saw the weather in Charlotte. Dropped Jennings to grab Brunell and start Brunell over Delhomme.

Lost by 2! Brunell 4, Delhomme 12. :-t
Plus, dropped Jennings off my team. Oh yeah, loss was to one of 2 remaining undefeated teams in the league. :-°

Luckily, I got Jennings back off WW for... who else, Brunell.

My goof: starting anyone over Galloway. Someday this year, I will learn that regardless of circumstances, Galloway just seems to get his. Thankfully, it didn't cost me the game...barely...
