See im the exact opposite of you guys that get amazing points and still get beat. My team sucks it up but somehow I end up playing the worst team and winning. Im 3-2 in one league and 4-1 in the other and my teams suck. Im starting to believe that it is all luck.
There's a team in my league that's 0-5. Before this year, no one had ever gone 0-4.
QB Carson Palmer
RB Lamont Jordan
RB Cadillac Williams
WR Randy Moss
WR Javon Walker
TE Tony Gonzalez
K Neil Rackers
QB Ben Roethlisberger
QB Andrew Walter
RB Dominic Rhodes
RB Derrick Blaylock
RB Brian Calhoun
WR Donte Stallworth
WR Hines Ward
WR Eddie Kennison
WR Doug Gabriel
WR Marcus Robinson
WR Bobby Engram
WR Antonio Chatman
TE Jermaine Wiggins
And this is the same guy who started out 12-0 last year!
I am in a total of 21 leagues this year. I am 5-0 in 4 of them, and in 6 more, I am 4-1. 2-3 or better in 19 of the 21. But I have a 1-4, and a 0-5. Total winning percentage at this point of .629 (66-39).
Here's the 0-5:
QB P. Manning, Plummer, Pennington
RB Dillon, Foster, T. Bell, G. Jones, Davenport, Jacobs, K. Faulk, L. White, Humes, Lundy
WR Wayne, Owens, Evans, Battle, Burleson, M. Williams, Sin. Moss, Henderson
TE LJ Smith, Gates
Now, in my defense this is a dynasty league that we drafted prior to the NFL draft. So, that really affected some things obvioously. But a league is a league. I have a project here..
10 Team Money league with friends...
The crappy thing is even my bitter rivals admitted I had the best team coming out of the draft.
QB- Bulger, Leftwich
WR- T.O., Steve Smith, Lavernues Coles, Andre Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson
RB- Shaun Alexander, Willie Parker, Ruben Droughns, DeShaun Foster, Dominic Rhodes
TE- Winslow, McMichael
The worst week was last week. I was 0-3 coming in against the 3-0 first place team. I had the biggest week anyone had so far, and was up a good 25 points. Then came Donovan McNabb's performance against GB on monday night. I cried myself to sleep.
