Most impressive rookie performance for week 5

Postby jnjtk555 » Mon Oct 09, 2006 10:31 am

I admit under the influence of various perceptions of rookie QBs inabililty to be effective i was certain a few outcomes would were etched in stone for yesterdays games, but i was wrong but enjoyably so.....I like what i saw from Gradkowski, dude has a canno and looked poised from what i saw, of course Linehart was impressive and Young was so so...But i have to say G-ski was more impressive and will continue to make stride at make TB better this year......

Of course it was Reggie Bush. Only one rookie willed his team to victory in the final minutes to the best of my knowledge.

Most impressive fantasy performance? Probably Jennings or Leinart.

Real life = Bush. No denying that.

Bruce Gradkowski played pretty well for a 6th round rookie. However, we have to figure out whether this is real or just a Ryan Fitzpatrick imitation of last year.

He's much better then Fitzpatrick was.

Gradkowski is probably the future at the TB QB position. I watched the game since I live in Atlanta and thats what Fox showed..and the guy looked good. He made alot of very good reads and fit the ball in alot of tight places very well. He's much better then Simms..not to mention he has the ability to scramble 10 yards every now and then because he's fast. We'll see how he does next week, but I'm willing to bet you he performs well all year. He even opened up the running game for Caddy.

I think i saw bush was leading the league in receptions.....

sometimes you have to break down what he's been doing all year, he is crazy impressive....allthough i still stand firm, i do not like him as an every week starter YET, ill see where it goes, but for now deuce is an every week play, bush id need to see more out of the offense before i started him no matter the matchups, i would like him to max out more then 11 points or so a game on offense
