Sleeper WR: Josh Reed?

Postby Suicide_Kings » Tue Oct 10, 2006 10:43 pm

If you're looking for a temporary WR for Week 6 this guy might be worth a look. They play the Detroit Lions this week and their secondary is sorta banged up. To top it off, Losman really hasn't looked like the Losman of years past. I'm not counting the CHI game for Week 5, either. The Bears make every offense look bad with that 1st ranked defense.

I dunno, maybe worth looking into if you need ww help.

My sleeper for this week is Wesley Welker. He was targeted 12 times this past weekend, also with Harrington who seems to lock onto him. Not only that, Booker might not even play. Thats the sleeper, too bad I'm already loaded at the WR position.

The problem with picking up a Bills receiver (besides Evans) is they have about three guys with almost equal fantasy points -- Price, Parrish and Reed.

I wish I knew which one would excel this weekend.

You know, that Welker guy has the most receptions and is currently on waivers in my league. I need to take a close look at that. Welker might get a lot of looks especially if McMichael is still ailling.

I should have named this thread "Sleeper WRs for Week 6"

I don't really like Josh Reed much. Too many WRs in Buffalo plus Evans is gonna get most of the looks anyways. My sleeper this week is Bryant Johnson. He has a tough matchup at Chicago but I like his chances. He has produced well before when given the chance.
