By even THINKING of starting matt leinart vs the Bears...im not expecting greatness, but its always a surprise, 200 yds, two td's, and an int is not out of the question....
I just cant help but to think since its a big stage, and leinart has good football knowledge with the chance of putting up multiple td games i was thinking of taking the risk...my other option is brees vs the eagles so its not like thats any easier
I see Leinert's #s more like 17/39, 140 yds 0Tds, 3 INTs. He will have a good 1st drive of each half and thats it. Did you see Hasselbeck on Sunday night football against the Bears. He started out good, but once the Bear rush started he looked like a lost rookie out there. If you are banking on Leinert helping you this week you are in for some trouble.
i should of went with my gut, its still a long game left, but leinart is a diamond in the rough, im so glad i drafted warner and was quick to get him before anyone else as soon as rumors broke
Your prediction is actually lookin pretty darn good. 9/11, 83 yards, 2 TDs. I hope Rex can get it together and just 60 yards passing to Muhammad (58 more).
Leinart put up more points than Brees? It seems to me that Brees would've put more points up. 3 TDs, more yards thrown. Brees had 2 interceptions but Leinart fumbled so the difference in TOs wouldn't have much of impact if you are penalized for turnovers.
Looks like Brees was the better choice. Brees had 31 points to Leinart's 25 in one of my leagues.
