But Yahoo! hasn't changed it, and thats where youre playing. He's listed at TE, therefore any owner should be able to play him there.
It is changing the rules. From Yahoo themselves......
"Players are only eligible to play at those position(s) designated by Yahoo! Sports. "
So those are the rules in which this manager is playing in, telling him he cant play him there in changing the rule.

If you are currently playing Colston as a TE and defending changing his eligibility then your opinion doesnt matter
maybe u should just play in those leagues instead of yahoo. if u have decided to play in yahoo, well that's just too bad. he's eligible at TE there. if u dont like it, change your league and stop whining. simple as that.
alwazefun wrote:If you are currently playing Colston as a TE and defending changing his eligibility then your opinion doesnt matter
then why would you ask an open question if certain opinions dont matter if its not what you wanna hear?
i dont even have colston, which i grabbed him in time, but not a single person in my league seems to be interested with it like you are, he's not the only TE that can produce the rest of the year, and if your banking on a TE taking any team to the playoffs youve got a long way to go....
but if you dont want to play i suggest you just quit, once yahoo makes a player eligible at a certain position, they dont lose that eligibility the rest of the year....its no point in whining and trying to make someone make rules halfway thru the year, if you want to set those rules do it before the draft or before the first game like some people did....
People say this, but I have never seen him line up at TE
i have, and ive seen 2 full games thus far, he lines up on the line, next to the tackle, in a 3 point stance like a TE, depends on the formation and/or play that is called...they do alot of different things, but was supposed to play TE originally, he showed agility and promise at WR once camp started so they designated him to do both on the field for them both, watch some games, he doesnt line up at both 50%, but alot of times he is down as a TE

If youre the whiney owner that got spanked by Colston because you didnt pick him up, then your opinion doesnt matter.

I havent gotten beat by him ... but playing a WR at TE just because Yahoo says so is ridiculous. Unless someone dropped Gates, Heap, etc ... to get pick up Colston for the sole purpose of playing him at tight end then you have no room to complain if his eligibility is corrected. And if there is someone as good or better then who you dropped to pick him up then you are definitely a
To those people saying " well yahoo rules state .." thats BS too ... how many people actually read the fine print on every yahoo rule. No one who has not had this situation happen to them on yahoo before would even know this rule exists. Which is beside the point since Yahoo is only the framework for your league and not the rule maker ... if commish was given a choice when setting up the league as to player eligibiliy then you might have an point, but as it stands the commish or at the very least a league vote should be able to decide this issue.

Taking more than 1 minute to do this would be a complete waste, so Ill pick two things.
1. P####Y should be P###Y. Maybe youre not familiar with that.
2. Yahoo rules are the rules. Those are the rules. Id be more upset if they violated their rules than stuck by their "questionable" rules.

1. Another non productive comment .... too many #'s that obviously means Im a virgin!!
2. Yahoo is the utility one uses for managment of a league, and just because the software doesnt allow for certain changes doesnt mean a league can not make rules independently.
I cant believe out of all theses posts only a couple have people have tried to be helpful and give constructive answers(be it pro or con).
