Good, for a second there I thought I had been wrong all of these years.

lol...me too.

And back to the original post. 16 out of 45 is actually less of a percentage than 7-8 of 16-18. So 16 on bye isn't the worst one out there.

Right on. I have 9 out of 25 on Bye, so I actually have a greater percentage off this week. I still have no problem fielding a 9 player starting lineup, though.

Yet one more reason I will never play in an IDP league....

As long as we are on the subject, does anyone know why the NFL has 6 teams on Bye two weeks in a row? As far as I know, this is a first...I'm guessing there is a reason behind it...

I know it's weird...isn't it normally four teams on bye and not 6...maybe they're trying to reduce the number of bye weeks needed for this year? That's about the only thing that makes sense. Byes are done in Week 9 this year instead of Week 10.

Starting in Week 10, the Sunday night NBC game is "flexible." Meaning any one of the scheduled Sunday games could be picked to be played in Prime Time. Their trying to avoid some Houston/Jets games that no one watches. So they wanted every NFL team available for that, so the bye weeks got crunched down, and are over in week 9.
