I don't think any of the RBs in NE are worth picking up. They don't have a good offense.

I am not really against the NE offense.. just their running situation. Avoid the NE RBBC if at all possible.

Odds are it's going to be an extremely ugly RBBC all season long with nobody really worth owning.

But if you like to gamble and have an extra roster spot, you could pick up Mike Cloud and cross your fingers. Then if he breaks out of the committee and emerges as a star, you can tell your entire league that you called it and you're a genius!! :)

I picked him up but only because I had an extra roster spot and a solid backfield. I just want to see if he'll pan out or flame out. Either way if he sucks I'll dump him and if he goes off I look like a genius.

apparently the reason that cloud saw all the carries late in the game was b/c antowain smith got the wind knocked out of him and sat the last 20 mins....if ur gonna gamble on a NE back, grab smith. he's a big guy and the more likely every-down tailback over little man kevin faulk.

I don't know if I agree. Smith hasn't just lost a step - he's lost like 3 or 4. Faulk is faster and a better receiver so when healthy - he's not a bad option. Cloud is a mix of both which could prove very useful down the stretch. I am not saying Cloud is going to be the man nor is he even going to be good but I am sure not hitching a wagon to Smith.
