Leon Washington = Starter?

First of all, I really don't think any coach would do that. With no one averaging double digit carries, all the backs would be rusty from game-to-game. Secondly, most teams only activate 3 rb's for each game. If you activate a 4th guy, then you have to deactivate a primary backup probably on the OL or one of the DB's.

As for whether Leon will start, with Houston still injured and Martin not elligible to start practicing until next week, I think the chances are pretty good. After this week, I doubt even Mangini could tell you whether Washington would start.

I thought Houston was running the best out of the 4 of them prior to his knee injury. Whoever they decide on to be the so called starter will never get a ton of carries. I think they will continue to split carries among whoever they activate each game. Brad Smith might even gets some carries.
