Here is the latest Yahoo link for the story

Pick up Marcel Shipp now!!! I picked him up yesterday. The Arizona O-line is huge, and Shipp should be a good #3 back for your fantasy team.

Thank you sooooo much. I need a rb and I did not know that about Emmitt. I don't know if I can get him, since I am low in waivers, but I will try.

clarification?

Postby matmat » Mon Oct 06, 2003 5:30 pm

do waivers work differently in non-yahoo leagues than they do in yahoo leagues?
I would imagine that marcel shipp has been a free agent in many leagues for a while now, why does your waiver priority matter? you ought to be able to pick him up as a free agent...

confused...

Some leagues, mainly those where the commisioner controls everything, tally up every request for a certain player at the end of the day, and then give the player to the guy with the highest priority.

Personally, I hate those leagues, and prefer those where someone is only on waivers for the first three days after he is added by Yahoo or dropped by another guy in the league.

Tiki fan is right. That is how it is. But the system does it instead of the Commish. It is basically the same thing. Waivers are processed Tue. and Thur. at noon and after noon on Thur. it is 1st come 1st serve until Sun.
Here is our league:

AZ has a gargantuan o-line so marcel shipp should be a solid #3/flex RB or even a #2 when matchups dictate....emmitt could be out at least 2 months so shipp is a good pickup.
