Oakland Homers Justin Fargas question

I am thinking about trading for fargas banking on that he will be the feature/starter next season. Does anyone know his situation? Oakland homers?
I know this is Garners contract year and he is 30+. Anyone?

I wouldn't want to 'bank' on him being the #1 RB next year. Let's say Oakland continues to suck and gets a high draft pick, and say Maurice Clarett or somebody is there.

You want to still BANK on Fargas being the guy?

I'd trade for him cheap on the chance he might get the job. He looks better than expected, but whether that is good enough to be an NFL feature back is unclear. Much depends on the Raider draft.

This could be a very different Raider team next year. Gannon, Rice, and Brown all are no sure thing to return, even if they do, it may not be a wise move. I doubt Garner is signed by the Raiders.

His biggest claim to fam of course is being the son of 70's TV pimp Huggy Bear from 'Starsky and Hutch'. Without that connection, I doubt you'd hear very much about him at all.

There's no banking on Fargas. He's a huge gamble. Garner has looked good this year plus you have a draft after this year is up, plus Wheatley isn't a bad option, plus the Raider's could trade for a RB. If you are only allowed to keep around 5 guys I wouldn't even take a chance on him.
