Frankly, he may be a hell of a lot BETTER than "good in certain matchups." I'd just be worried that he's no good in ANY matchups when he's not playing. You'd be able to trade him "NOW" for much more than his actual value, if he either A). gets hurt, or B). comes back down to earth. Or C). comes back down to earth and ends up sharing carries with LenDale. Any of those are likely possibilities, and a bettin' man would probably count on his continued performance as the longshot.
That said, you should do what you want with him. If he ends up having a monster healthy year, you'll make everyone look dumb.
