The Shaun Alexander Effect

Postby noren0 » Sun Oct 15, 2006 6:18 pm

With Alexander my team was 0-3 with a total of 236 points

without him my team is 3-0 with a total of 334 points and counting (still got T.Jones tomorrow)

:-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

Its kind of like my baseball team this year that started 0-3, then my #1 draft pick Derreck Lee got hurt and I went on to win 8 in a row.

I am 3-2 (about to me 4-2 because I have Muhammad left and I am down 6) in my league and I am 2-1 with Alexander and 2-1 without Alexander. I hvae the most points scored in my league without Alexander for 4 weeks. I just want to see what number's I put up when Alexander is fully healthy.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

Get ready to lick those chops Alexander owners. This is the Seahawks remaining schedule. WOW. Can't wait to see what my team can do with a healthy SA on that schedule.

I'm about to be 2-0-1, assuming Grossman, Gould, and Berrian outscore Boldin and Clark tonight by over 17 fantasy points, which I think is pretty likely.

But I sure could've used Alexander this week - Morris got me 5 points, and my best alternative (Fred Taylor on a bye) was Leon Washington, who also would've gotten me 5. On the other hand, Fred Taylor single-handedly won my game last week so it's tough to see what "effect" the injury has had.

wow that is ridiculous...if he is healthy, he will have a field day here...i risked a lot trading for him (Eli and winslow), but i think it is worth it if he is 100%...any news on his health as of yet?

last I heard was that he's supposed to play in week 7. How much I don't know. MIN has a tough run D so I'm not gonna rush him into the lineup quite yet. Have to wait and see.

Woohoo! Didn't realize this.

With Grossman, Ronnie Brown, Alexander, Roy Williams, Burress, Fitzgerald, Evans, Berrian, Heap, and Gould, I don't see how my team doesn't win it all in my 10-team H2H.

I wouldn't count on the W by any means. A TD is really hit or miss and I don't see 140 yards. 8-o
