How BAD is EDGE?

Edge was horrible. But, gotta say that most of it was his O-Line. Frequently gets taken out in the backfield, blocking is absolutely terrible. Cards need some serious O-Line help now. Plus what is Green doing running the ball for a loss everytime when Leinart is clearly playing well. Everytime he threw he looked good. If Arizona had thrown more when they had the lead they would have easily won this.

Edge simply has lost much of the speed that made him an elite back. The play they used in Indianapolis was the stretch play that allowed him to get the corner, and positive yards. Edge reminds my of Antwoine Smith of the last few years. Capable, and yet not very explosive.

If your an Edge owner all you can do is wait it out. His value is absolutely as low as it can be.

With an coming game against Oak. next week maybe he can turn it around.

Then sell because he's got games against GB, Dallas, Det & Minn coming next.

WHat about the drive that stalled out when they were on their own 10 yard line. 2 incompletions and a draw on 3rd down. Leinart looked real great there. You don't win by having a great half, you do it by closing the game when you can by running out the clock.

He's pretty bad, but it allowed me to win a close one this week, so i'll take it.

It's that offensive line. We knew this when he went for the cash that Arizona dished out.

I know he no longer has a great line to block for him, but man he looks bad..1 yard here, 2 yards there and thats about it..19 attempts and 38 yards.. Are the Cards going to wake up and see he won't get you 4-6 yards a pop? For the year he's averaging 2.9 yards a carry.. Man Im glad I did not draft him..

i dont care if your LT, or edge, or whoever, with no o line you cannot run well....i dont know why its so hard for some of you to understand, edge didnt fall off, he cannot hit the holes...and their passing game has not opened up like it was in indy....but their o line is in shambles, caused a fumble go for 7 points....if they decide to block better he will perform, but look at LJ this year, thats due to offensive line troubles not the back

Edge started off with 7 carries for 31 yards. Ever since then, The Cardinals OLine decided to stop blocking after the first drive.

So basically, after the first drive Edge had 24 yards on 29 carries. Less than 1 yard per carry for almost 30 straight carries, holy hell...

Arrington looked a lot harder to knock down, but honestly, I think it was largely the Bears run D.
