Can I trust QuincyCarter ?

I'm a Georgia fan, so I know him well. He has driven me nuts
for years. Other than Vick, he is the fastest and most athletic
qb in the NFL. Do you think Parcells has turned him arround?
I have him and his indifferent twin brother(A Carter) and,frankly,
don't kow what the hell to do.

Presumably, you're just holding him in case your starter gets injured or for use in your starter's bye week.

I'd definitely hold on to QC if your starter has a bye in week 7 (when QC is @ Detroit).

I could go either way with Carter in week 9 (Washington), and week 10 (Buffalo).

I would not start QC next week (against Philly), week 8 (@ TB), or week 12 (Carolina).

And of course, if you have the room on your bench, it doesn't hurt to hold on to a guy who could prove valuable in a late-season trade or spot start.

This may sound stupid, but I think with Hambrick coming on and a D that will keep the 'Pokes close, he may not have the need to throw a lot. QBs will bad Ds make for good ff numbers.IMHO-in my hideous opinion!

I'm looking at the same thing. I have Hbeck and Carter has outscored him in 2 of the four weeks. Hbeck is going up against San Fran who has the 8th ranked pass defense. Carter is playing Philly who has one of the best run defenses in the league but is 31st against the pass.

Right now I think I'll give it a few more weeks before sitting my sure fire starter for a guy that is still unproven in my book. It's tempting though.

Another note on Carter is that his only bad week this season (fantasy wise) came in a game where Dallas took the air out of the ball due to a big lead. When called upon Quincy has been money. My what a difference a quality coach can make.

Q. Carter is on a roll. He's got a new, great coach, thats developing him perfectly. Only way for him is UP! Carter's stats are about the same as A. Brooks. Carter has 1031 passing yards and 4 TDs and Brooks has 1003 passing yards and 5 TDs

A. Brooks is in a slump, having poor games last couple games. And here's a report from KFFL

i thoguth aaron brooks was michael vick's cousin?? so quincy IS related to michael vick?? weird, he reminded me of him in his playing. quincy is only improving. he is a legit star with a good receiving cast

interestingly enough, i just found out, also related are the two WRs, the overrated P.O.S. keyshawn johnson and... chad johnson. key has 21c/272y/0td, and chad has 27c/429y/3td. look at who's really getting the damn ball.

No guys, Q Carter is not related to either Brooks or Vick. I was
trying(w/o success) to be funny. Their style of play is similar and
both are inconsistent, one difference is I think Carter cares if
the Cowboys win, not sure if Brooks cares.
