First Consoles are never better than PCs, even when the consoles first come out.
At most they are equal when it is released.

So you're telling me that the XBox 360 is at best equal to some piece of crap $300 cpu you pick up at best buy? Of course if you're willing to spend $5000 dollars and pick up a state-of-the-art gaming PC then it's better but why when you can just plop down a couple hundred bucks and pick up an XBOX? To me, much better value.

Also, the mouse and keyboard statement is a pure opinion.

I can't STAND to play FPS's without two analog sticks. It's what you're used to.

A top of the line gaing PC does not cost 5k.
I built my PC and spent about 1200 bucks on it.
I upgrade if occasionally for a few hundred bucks.

Much better than shelling out 500 bucks for a system that you are stuck with for 5 years, and is way behind PCs in a year.

Well, while I agree with the lay off it part, this is a video games forum inside of a fooball forum, so I guess he can have at it, but I just hope he enjoys ranting to himself, because I'm now officially outohere!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this thread was about which new console to buy???

NEPatsFan2006 was just looking for some helpful insight on which new console people thought he should buy, not a discussion about which is better, PC's or Consoles. If you wanna have a discussion about that, then make a thread about it.

As for my opinion NEPatsFan2006, I'm gunna pick up a PS3 because I have always enjoyed there systems more, but I'm also gunna wait til spring or summer of 2007 to make sure they are working good before I buy it.

I play FPS on my computer with a dual analog... and I own. Feels nicer on my hands too. Use what you like, but experience is more important than a mouse vs. gamepad.

I would much rather have a console then PC. The graphics on the new gen systems are great. So they're not as great as the top of the line PC. They're also about 3 times less money then a PC, and you don't have to spend money every freaking year for more memory and better graphics cards. I'll take the one time, much less fee of a console any day.

Dollar for dollar, consules are the better value... they are sold at a loss... whereas top PC gaming machines are sold at a premium (even if you put it together yourself, the top components are mucho $$$$).

That being said, I'm looking to buy a new PC next year... I can afford to have the best
