I would pick up the kickers. If it was a good friend, I would call him as soon as I was done just to rub it in.

That's true, in most leagues everyone has to freeze their line-ups on Sunday morning until all games for that week are played, and you usually can't even pick up players off waivers until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I would do it no doubt. It's his fault for not picking one of them up. It's not cheating. It's not illegal....I can't see anything wrong with it.
