Detroit fans are the WORST in the NFL

Postby LT Blue Colt » Mon Oct 23, 2006 4:35 pm

I mean we are. :-b What the heck are we routing for. It's not like we have an actual team worth competing in the NFL. Our baseball team could probably beat the Lions. So, if you ever want to watch your team play at an away game and come to a friendly stadium, hell we'll route for your team with you. :-) :-b ;-D

Detroit fans are the WORST in the NFL

Sad but true.. The Lions have not had a team to root for since Sanders retired.. Detroit may be the most sorry franchise in the NFL, right up there with Oakland & Arizona.. At least Oakland fans root for their team..

Eh, Oakland's not a sorry "franchise," they're just losing right now. They made the super bowl just 4 years ago and have 3 Super Bowl titles. Arizona on the other hand...

I think it's the opposite. The worse the team, the better the fans. At least you know they're not fair-weather fans.

Yea, those guys can be pretty funny when it comes to their team. They show that they still love their losing team but can poke fun at themselves because of it.

Anyways, you Detroit guys need to get rid of Millen, or maybe get the Fords to sell the team. Same situation as the Cards, they need to get rid of the Bidwells. Probably not likely in the owner situations, but Millen definitely has promise.
Keep up the "Fire Millen" campaign guys! ;-D ;-D

Although as I Bears fan, I do find everything the Lions do amusing. You've got quite the character in Roy... almost 40 pts, eh? :-B

Even with Sanders the Lions weren't that great. They did have a few winning seasons but I'm pretty sure they always lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Yeah, I know we've got lot's of pine trees in Michigan for making pine tar, and that's no excuse for using it whenever we can. But, I've got a great solution. Let Carpenter pitch the 1st inning next game with some, wash it off, and then we'll be even-steven. Right? ;-)
