A Question of Fantasy Football Ethics

Is it okay to agree upon a trade for a particular week on the condition that it get reversed at week's end?

For example, I send William Green to someone who can use him for Week 6 and I get Bledsoe fo his Jets matchup. Then, on Monday, we trade them back.

Is this kosher?

No...not kosher. That is essentially collusion. In our league, you can't get someone you traded back until he is traded to someone else.
Baseball players are smarter than football players. How often do you see a baseball team penalized for too many men on the field?

Not kosher....

Definate collusion, which is a big no-no in FF.

Let's say 1 guy has two good QB matchups in the same week, but only 1 good running back matchup. Another guy has 3 good running back matchups but no good QB matchups. If these guys swap players for the week, it's totally unfair to the teams that they are playing against. You can't share resources with another player to beat the opponent before you.

Both my leagues have a four-week minimum time limit that a player can be reaquired in a trade.

yep thats kind of a collusion issue, and are you sure you will get yer player back anyways......when it came time to trade back he/she could tell you to go screw yourself! besides why would you want to try and help an opponent like that?

Agreed - good call by WW. ;-D

Even if you have the best of intentions, you'd be stirring up a hornet's nest that could create huge problems for your league.
