Thoughts on Reggie Brown

Postby DrSpackle » Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:47 am

Is he the #1 in Philly now? Stallworth's been hurt, but when he comes back will Reggie still be productive? I don't know why I don't trust this guy in my lineup, even as a #2 WR. He is consistent and McNabb throws a the ball a lot.

I don't think he puts up elite numbers from here on out. But solid numbers -- 5 for 75 with a TD here and there -- from here on out. He seems like a viable option, I just gotta get overt my trust issues.

Any Philly fans out there to chime in?

well he shouldn't put up "elite" numbers, although my personal opinion is he is an eliter WR int he making. He led rookies last year, and is having a very nice year so far.

The schedule will undoubtably get tougher, although the cowboys and skins aren't looking too imposing on pass d anymore, neither is tennessee. Jax, Carolina, Atlanta loom as bad matchups, but I don't see any reason why the eagles can't continue to have success passing on Wash (x2), Giants, Cowboys, Tennesse, Colts.

I wouldn't trade FOR him per se, but I wouldn't take peanuts for him, and I would certainly talk if he was a package deal.

This is a tough on to figure, so maybe the best course of action is standing pat from either persepctive.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

He definately put up elite #'s in the 1st 7 weeks. He's a good sell high in a package deal. I traded him last week after that huge game.
