When M. Faulk returns

Another thought is about the STL O-line. Haven't they gotten better since the beginning of the year? And hasn't the offense as a whole been better with Bulger steadying the ship? I think these two factors makes for a better running situation when Marshall comes back.

Also I just heard that LT's starting center went down for the year, that is another lineman either out or banged up for the Chargers.

Having Bulger in there is only going to help and not hurt Faulk. Bulger doesn't try to do everything by himself like Warner, which led to the horrific amount of sacks which led to fumbles. Bulger uses what he has, which is Marshall Faulk. Notice how many more times Martz runs/dumps the ball off to Marshall with Bulger in there. I certainly believe Kurt Warner is the better physical quarterback, but Martz goes pass happy with him.

Both ways, hopefully Martz has learned that he must build his offense around Faulk. If so, then he'll explode for sure.
