Guys check out the SIX RB I've assembled..crazy Sunday ahead

Postby tecmobowl12 » Sat Oct 28, 2006 3:08 am

So my league has spent all week talking trash on the message board rather than checking out the WW...as a result, I've added a couple running backs with the intent to trade some of them next week for a top QB. I'm in 8th place and it's time for some risk...

Yahoo 12 Team Std. H2H

QB: Romo
WR: Harrison
WR: Driver
WR: Houshmanzadeh
RB: Tiki
RB: Taylor
TE: Gates
K: Graham
DEF: Denver
BN: Leftwich
BN: Evans
BN: Washington
BN: Lundy
BN: Droughns
BN: Jacobs

Between Leon, Lundy and Droughns (all of whom have great potential this weekend), I'm thinking at least one of them will have a solid performance, at which point I can start shopping them around. There are a couple teams in the league that are dangerously thin at the RB spot.

At the very least It should be an interesting Sunday

Wow. That's a lot of mediocre RBs. Congratulations... I guess.

Not as good as mine where I have:

B. Westbrook
C. Taylor
K. Jones
S. Alexander
C. Portis

Then again... it's a 10 team yahoo public.

I don't see the point....Hell, I'd take my Brown Alexander Henry Washington any day, and that's saying something. But in my only other league, while we're bragging, here's who I've got:

TBell
KJones
RBrown
AGreen
WDunn

1st rd: Brown
5th rd: KJones
8th rd: TBell
9th rd: Dunn
FA: Green (frustrated owner dumped him for some random Turner-eaque back)

But this league has 2QB 2TE 2Def, so by sticking to conventional draft strategies, while I'm royally stacked at RB, my other positions are so-so to bad.

Agreed. You wont get a decent QB for a bunch of mediocre waiver wire RBs.

But while its going on, I'm gonna jump in on the bragging as well. Who can beat this RB group? (8 person $$$ league full of idiots)

Larry Johnson
Tiki Barber
Shaun Alexander
Reggie Bush
Jamal Lewis
Lamont Jordan

All this, and I drafted Domanick Davis.

really?!? that's what you come up with?

why don't you defend your decisions or state why someone would trade you Bulger or Grossman for Jacobs or Lundy?

That was a joke, perhaps I should have made the sarcasm more obvious. And it would be a waste of time to defend my first post, check the time it was posted...

Besides, I agree with every one of the responses, except yours of course
