I traded Colston to the team playing me this week.

I have Anquan Boldin, Roy Williams, and Berrian, and desperately needed a QB, so I traded Colston + Alex Smith for Philip Rivers and Antonio Bryant. I started Rivers today instead of Seneca Wallace.

As you see, Colston lit it up against me, and Rivers has yet to do any better than Seneca Wallace would have for me on the bench.

Was this a boneheaded move?

That's a rhetorical question. I'm just venting here.

Not really a boneheaded move, since it'll probably be a wash in the end (at least), but I've just been seeing too many people label Colston as a 'sell high' guy, when I've had him pegged as a keep and start guy for a while now - he's the real deal. On the other hand, the trade in general benefits you a lot more.

So, short term, it was boneheaded, kinda. But long term, not bad.
