Broncos: Bell has turf toe in both feet

THE NEWS
The Denver Post is reporting that Broncos running back Tatum Bell is dealing with turf toe in both his feet. That injury caused him to spend most of Sunday's second half on the sidelines while Mike Bell finished the game with 136 rushing yards and two scores. "He asked me and asked (running backs coach) Bobby (Turner) at halftime if we could cut back," head coach Mike Shanahan told the team's website. "So we decided to go with Mike [Bell] - a guy that's full speed, since Kyle Johnson went out early and he couldn't go, and we were down to really two backs, with Cecil [Sapp] and Mike, and I thought they both played extremely well."
Our View
The bad news for Tatum owners is that his replacements did well, especially Mike Bell, giving Shanahan confidence the team can do just fine running the ball without their starter. The worse news is that Tatum is dealing with a painful injury in both feet that won't go away until he takes some time off. Expect his carries to be limited for at least next week's game, if he even plays, and this has the potential to hamper him for the remainder of the season.
Um wow... if it hurts to cut right AND left, that can be a problem. The fact that it is both feet makes me give the report much more consideration than if he simply had turf toe in one toe.

Umm maybe...
Issac Bruce:Kevin Curtis::Tadum Bell:Mike Bell
Id say Curtis did well last year with Bruce out, and any RB will do great in the DEN system. Im loving my Saturday evening pickup of MBell after hearing about the Turf toe and instantly thinking about Bruce last year

Remeber Chrissy Brown was a STUD on Tenn. a couple of years ago,and then BOOM he hadbecause he turf toe on 1 foot,and Sucked.If Tatum Bell has it on both feet,he'll never get the starting job back.It's a painful injury,and takes a while to heal.
I just traded E. James and Doug Gabriel for Mike Bell and Clayton

He didn't suck at all. I had him on my team and remember vividly. He'd be questionable all week, start the game, do well in the first half, and then never come back after halftime.
