Postby Nineball » Mon Oct 30, 2006 4:34 pm

He looked great yesterday, but the Colts D, sux. Any chance of him taking over and becoming the man? Are people sold?

Is there a chances? Yes.

Am I sold? Not until I get a personal bond from Mike Shanahan that if he doesn't start Mike Bell every game, and give him 70% of the snaps, that he'll send me $5,000,000.

It's freaking Denver.

If Tatum is hurt, then definitely Mike will play. If Tatum is healthy, then I'm not sure what we'd see.

Turf Toe is pretty nasty. I had to deal with Chris Brown two years ago (when he'd run wild and then leave at halftime).

unfortunately both my teams were using Tatums as my #2. I am now going to try and move him in both leagues. I dont like this situation at all because this is not an injury he will come back from this year and with another capable back laying around, it will be too easy for them to pull him. I dont have faith in Mike Bell though, I expect more of the same crap that went on the first few weeks.

As long as Tatum is sidelined, Mike will get the majority of the carries. And I don't see why Mike won't produce. He doesn't have the speed that Tatum has, but Mike can get tough yards. I don't see much of a drop-off as far as fantasy production is concerned.

Although he looked very good yesterday. I think he will be a slightly above rb for the rest of the year. I do think he will start though, Tatum's turf toe is going to hinder him the rest of the year.

I remember exactly. I had him too...used to piss me off. Deal Tatum while his value his still pretty good.

It may be a bit late to deal Tatum for anything better. Now that news of dual turf toes has hit the public, only an ignorant or stupid owner will take Tatum in a trade. But I suppose those are decent odds to go on, since there are a lot of dumb people in the world.

I'm actually thinking Tatum is done for the year, at least for meaningful fantasy impact. His value may have just plummetted down to backup levels and not even useful in a decent RBBC.

Can he? He already has! Tatum's as good as done for the year, because Shanahan ONLY rides the hot hand and has no qualms about benching a RB (like when he dreamt that Reuben Droughns could be productive, when he was definitely not the best choice for the job). Anyon will thrive in the system, and Shannahan knows it all too well.

ya i think he's never goin to be the same all year, i traded him last nite packaged with reggie williams for ronnie brown, so basically you can say im very happy with that trade....

for teh value of both those players, ronnie brown is great because i was about to settle for J Jones and willie parker so im happy, package him together, you never know if an owner in your league wants to take a chance on him that hasnt read up on the type of injury....

and mike bell is a good start again, i dont think its RBBC because tatum wont be good for more then 10 carries, and mike bell was the goal line back the entire time even when tatum was healthy, so im starting mike bell wtih addai this week, and benching ronnie, i think mike will score once, and put up around 70 yds
