TO or Roy Williams?

Postby JasonSeahorn » Mon Oct 30, 2006 10:34 pm

Before Romo, i would say Williams is better to own no contest. But Romo forces the ball to him almost as much as Carr forces it to Andre. The Cowboys also have a weaker schedule for the rest of the season, and get the Falcons and Eagles in the championship for my playoffs, while Roy Williams faces the Packers first, followed by the Bears in the championship.

If you had to pick one, who would you want on your roster and why?

I'd gotta say TO after the game last night. Seems like every play like you said Romo looks for TO. Romo is doing not bad, TO is happy cause he's getting the ball. Good match between the two. When TO is happy and getting the ball he is one of the best in the league if not the best.

Williams is a tremendous receiver and far less of a punk. I'd rather have Williams in every situation (real football, fantasy football, parties, road trip).

I'd take TO.

Roy is emerging, but the injury history is there. Why gamble on Roy when you've got a stud staring you in the face?

I would go with Roy Williams. Remember he has Mad Martz as his OC so passing is going to be the norm in Det. Romo looked good Sunday but will it last? Once people get film on him and see that he is forcing it to TO they will overplay that option and make him look elsewhere or suffer many ints.

Surprised this is a question. TO for sure, the guy is a better athelete and has a QB to manipuate to get more passes thrown his way.

I might take Roy in this case just so I never have to cheer for TO....I feel like such a terrible person cheering for him to do well. :-b

I don't think the gap between them is a gulf, but I'd take TO over Roy if there were a redraft tomorrow.
