Gates vs Winslow..Who wins?

Postby kemper5 » Sat Nov 04, 2006 12:41 am

This is a very interesting article of how Winslow thinks he's the best TE out there and wants to prove it Sunday.. Just a feeling, but I bet Gates destroys his #'s in what may be his best game of the year!

Winslow has always been saying he is the best TE ever. I think he is supposed to be faster than Gates, and a lot of TE's actually are, but Gates just has so much power and glue-hands, so i'd still rather have him on my team!

Gates vs Winslow..Who wins?

Winslow's mouth will not earn him much respect.. I truely would not be surprised to see a 8 reception, 105 yard, 2 TD type game from Gates to shut that punk up..

Considering their surroundings, I'd give the nod to Gates easily. Winslow Jr. has yet to prove anything other than he has a big mouth.

That is a major tough choice.. WOW! Id go with Gates as I feel Rivers and Gates will sing sweet music all day with a dominant performance, and Gates is really really amped up for this and will plead for the ball on his way to plowing defenders :-)

Have any of these NFL jerks heard of "quiet confidence"? Gates isn't out there trumpeting his own cause and it doesn't seem to hurt him in the "who's the best TE" voting. Although, his silence probably saves him from a few linebacker forearms across the mouth.

I'd like to see Winslow and Shockey beat each other senseless with inflatable baseball bats, trash talking the whole time, I'm sure.

Incidentally, my over-under on Winslow Jr.'s NFL career is 4 years from today...

I like Gates pumped up for this game, and I don't see the Brown's D doing much to hold him back. I think he's going to go out this week & show why he's the #1 TE in football.
Praise Ricky!
