Chester Taylor's numbers to take a hit?

Chester Taylor-RB- Vikings Nov. 4 - 10:48 am et

Chester Taylor is now losing third-down work to Mewelde Moore.

Moore is 100 percent and could become the full-time third-down back late this season. Taylor's PPR value appears likely to take a minor hit.

Taylor needs some more breathers. He has been overworked so far, hopefully this will help him stay fresh. His receiving numbers will obviously take a hit, but his rushing numbers should remain similar.

Taylor has a nice schedule so I don't think his production will go down. I'd rather see him take more breathers or else he's gonna be worn up by the last couple weeks.

This is the first I've seen of this. How reliable is the St. Paul Pioneer Press?

Moore got a lot of work late against NE, because the game was out of hand.

The Press is pretty reliable, and this story is practical. This isn't too big of a fantasy situation as long as he only plays a role on 3rd downs and not at the goal line.

Actually Taylor came out with a shoulder stinger or something of that sort.

I certainly think Chester is getting worned down. And IMO, I think with Moore stealing some of his carries, will produce pretty good numbers, thus continuing to steal carries throughout the remainder of the season.

Isn't that a local paper? I would think they'd be a pretty reliable source of Vikings info if that's the case.

The little blurb makes sense though. Moore isn't going to be taking away much carries as the 3rd down back. Taylor's value only goes down in PPR leagues.

Moore has 10 carries this year. I highly doubt that they stop giving it almost exclusively to Chester.

Moore is a quick tailback & a great reciever. Last week is just a glimpse of what he's capable of if he has playing time. Its not so far fetched to say Moore will see an increased role...get a recieving td, or have a 100 yd game any given week.
