It must be real then. :-t :-t :-t

If it was real and not just a freak cooincidence...do you think any player would agree to be on the cover?

People that believe in the "Madden Curse" just make me laugh. They really have no clue.

These have the best shot IMO...

Steve Smith, LT, LJ, or Tom Brady

There are some weird things in sports. Thats just how it is. It is pretty coincidental that the Dolphins have ended the undefeated seasons of the Bears in 85, the Broncos in 98, the Bears in 06, and they have a chance to deny the Colts in week 17 this season. NOBODY knows that these "curses" and other coincidences actually exist, but its pretty interesting to people that don't just see in black and white.

It's cooincidence. Nothing more, nothing less. People used to talk about the SI cover jinx. I'm pretty sure that Jordan & Tiger have been on the cover the most or very close to it. Last I checked they had and are having awesome careers.

- Steve Smith
- Antonio Gates
- Ravens Defense (nah.. JK).. Reed *Sarcasm*:-b
- R. Bush (Saints affiliation)
- Chad Johnson
- Holt
- Heap

yeah.. I think either a WR/TE

I think it was RayRay ('05), McNabb ('06), Alexander ('07).. Defense, QB, RB, WR, TE?, ST (KR maybe?), DEF.... Follow the trend? :-#

I thought EA Sports and Madden were ending their association with each other?

If not,

How about Merriman or Urlacher?
QB's E. MANNING / KITNA / CUTLER
RBs R BROWN / WESTBROOK (R BUSH / MCGAHEE / L BETTS / D WILLIAMS )
WRs ROY WILLIAMS / T OWENS / A JOHNSON / BERRIAN
TE WITTEN / WATSON
K GRAHAM
DT PANTHERS

I think Urlacher has a 100x better chance than Shawn "roid popper" Merriman, and he even still had a better chance before the drug suspension since Urlacher is the biggest name in the game as far as LBs.
