Reggie Bush - most overhyped, overrated player in history

Statistically he hasn't produced the numbers many have have expected himk to produce but his presence on the field has really opened up the field for his teammates. They showed on NFL Network how defenses are keying on him and shifting coverages towards him creating one on one opportunities for the likes of Colston and Horn or running room for Deuce.
I feel in time the stats will improve for him.

Agreed. All I'm saying is that we need to give Bush a chance to be a full time starter before making a decision on whether he's a bust or not.

Does anyone still think the Texans made a mistake drafting Mario Williams? 4.5 sacks through 8 games in his rookie season, that's a difference maker.

Do you mean a mistake drafting him over Reggie Bush? Or just drafting him in general?

NFL.com has him at 11 carries for -5 yards. Come on, give Reggie his props.

The Saint's are fools. They should have just picked Colston at #2 overall.

Bush Overrated? Yes
Would I want him on my fantasy team in a redraft? No
Would I want him on my fantasy team in a keeper? Yes

He's not a bruising back. I don't think anyone expected him to be one. But he does have the quickness and elusive qualities that can make a stud if the team has good run blocking.

If I were forced to project Reggie Bush's career statline I think he would be very close to Warrick Dunn's numbers.

Perhaps a rich man's Warrick Dunn. That's still not too bad. So I think people paid too much for him, but if they want to trade him away, I'm listening.

Yah. We need to fire all the front office guys. This was a terrible offseason for the Saints ;-7

I think it's a bit early to break out the "bust" stamp. It's his rookie year, and the dude isn't even starting. We'll see what's going on in a year or two.

As far as the biggest bust conversation goes. . . somebody to consider . . .

Cant forget the "Boz"

From a fantasy standpoint, Reggie is a rookie bust... But from a real life NFL perspective, I think he's done pretty well for a rookie...

Long term, there is no way to tell, at this point, how he'll turn out...

He's not the next Gayle Sayers, like all the talking heads made him out to be in the offseason, but he's not exactly Ryan Leaf, either...

I said it on draft day, and I've said it ever since - Reggie Bush is, essentially, a high priced Warrick Dunn...

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't exactly be too upset if I had Warrick Dunn as my RB right now...
