It wasn't "The Best", but Chris Chamers' one-handed catch in week 1 this year vs the Texans in the end-zone was pretty good.

Fans at entrance to tunnel saw this beating taking place and started pelting goons with snowballs. Later spread to rest of stands. NFL Security was on hand due to high profile Bounty Bowl threats. NFL Security attempted to remove any fan seen throwing snowballs. As the game progressed any attempt by goons to remove a fan was met by hundreds of snowballs from the stands. Goons had to retreat from the stands repeatedly Ed Rendell (Now Pennsylvania Governor) paid accomplice to throw a snowball. This is the untold story you did not get from the NFL TODAY. They did not explain why the fans were angry. They did not show the security goons being driven from the stands.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"At 60 yards it wont be a record FG distance, It will however set a record for longest post field goal celebration if Gramatica makes it."

Al Michaels, in reference to a Gramatica 60YRD field goal attempt week 5(2003 season) of Monday Night Football.

What about the Minn/NO game last year? Minnesota scores the TD on the last play of regulation and has the choice to kick the PAT for the tie, but instead goes for the duece. Culpepper takes the snap, fumbles the ball, dives on it, scrambles back to his feet, and then still manages to run into the end zone untouched. One of the 3 "cakewalk" games that kept the Aint's out of the playoffs last year ending with the first game in the history of the NFL won on a last second 2-point conversion.

There was also that Jets kickoff return for a touchdown in OT last year. It's the only time OT has ever ended with neither offense seeing the field (and the perfect reason to change the OT rules).

Jim McMahon and the 1985 Chicago Bears.

It's mid-season. At the Minnesota Vikings.
It's late in the game. 3rd quarter or so.
The Bears are losing bad, BAD, that day.
McMahon's been on the bench all day long with an injury.

Jim McMahon is finally called into the game.
Results?
4 plays. 4 passes. 3 TDs.
Let me repeat that (because this feat, for some reason, seems to never be mentioned) 4 plays. 4 passes. 3 TDs.

The Bears win, and go on to a perfect season (minus the MNF Miami game), are UNSCORED upon in the playoffs (nada, that's right, zero) and win Super Bowl XX in it-was-over-in-the-2nd-quarter style.

An simply unbelievable feat, largely forgotten.

......I was pretty young but I remember it, truly hands down the greatest play ever......saw "The Catch".....Montana truly was Joe Cool....."The Drive"....incredable performance by Elwaythe fake spike by Marino was just brilliant.....and a play I will always cherish was in the super bowl, when Rod Woodsen(The only man ever to return from an ACL tear and play a game in the same season) was covering Deon Sanders (who was in at wide out) Aikman threw it too Deon and Woodsen batted the ball away and did the little Deon dance..lmao.....that was the highlight of that night, but still did not kill the pain of the Steelers loseing to the Boys
