Has anyone heard any news one way or the other that his injury could hinder him the remainder of the year?

Of course it won't be for the rest of the season. He's coming back next week, after his bye at 100%.

More precisely is this a nagging injury that could be reinjured like a hammy or the like?

I think he will be good to go after the bye.. which makes me wonder why in the world some guy in one of my leagues just dropped him. Its ok with me though because for the price of a reserve TE I just picked up CPepp.

It could have been if he would've played the following week after the injury. But he would have had 4 weeks to heal. And bentley, someone dropped him in your league? Lucky.

Great. I've got no reservations about shipping McNair in a trade then.

He took all the snaps with the first team yesterday and is fully expected to start against Denver next week.

Just read a report that he is healed and feeling well to the point that Tice can't believe it.
