While watching the Duke Marquette game going on right now, I'm thinking both of these teams look final four worthy....they certainly are playing far harder and more passionately than any othet teams I've watched so far this year....not going on much for that though.
Another poor showing by UNC. Although they looked absolutely god awful there is a lot they can build on. The next 2-3 years are gonna be scary for the NCB landscape if UNC doesn't have any early NBA defections. Oh and Tyler getting stuffed like that made me excited for Basketball season again.

Same happened to me watching Duke-Marquette. I've never been nearly so pleased watching Duke lose....they looked good nonetheless, and were playing balls to the wall...Duke is gonna be unstoppable 2 years from now, seeing as their current best 5 include 3 (arguably 4 or 5) Underclassmen.

Something tells me we won't have that problem. I have this funny feeling that Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and the UNC bunch around sticking around for too long...

Yes, UNC looked terrible, but I'm not as worried about losses now as I will be in March. They need to learn that talent alone is not going to win games for them. They kind of slept through the first half and then 10 minutes of the second before actually playing. Roy will get that problem corrected by the time March rolls around. It's been an odd first couple of weeks to the season with so many top teams losing and/or struggling.

Of the UNC bunch, I really think only Wright and Hansbrough could leave after this year. Wright isn't close to ready but his potential is going to warrant a high draft pick from some NBA team. The rest of the guys need at least a year or two to develop NBA games.
