And the Ravens had the 2nd easiest in the AFC.

So, maybe that's why they look like the two best teams in the league O:-) .

For all the praise Baltimore's defense gets, I really believe the Chargers have the better defensive line (assuming Castillo is playing) and better linebacking core. Granted the secondaries don't compare, but McCree and Jammer are having excellent seasons and Cromartie's size can match up with nearly anyone out of the nickel.

Arguing Baltimore or the Chargers is really a matter of football philosophy, but one thing's certain; the Colts and Patriots are both nowhere near those two. The Colts defense, regardless of their performance against KC, is still a huge liability, especially not on turf, while the Patriots do not match up well versus the Chargers.

As of right now they are top 4 in the AFC with a chance on Sunday to advance to top 2... As for #1, we won't know that until the weekend after next ;)

In my opinion, they have the most talent in the AFC and are #1 on my personal ratings (though that is more than a little biased), but the rankings that matter are just getting started :D

In my opinion the best team in the AFC, is the Ravens. I expect we (Eagles), will meet them in the SuperBowl.

It's interesting to me the different philosophies that exist at the FFC. I'm of the mind that the Ravens aren't even going to make it past the next round let alone beat the Chargers in the AFC Championships.

The Pats dont match up well against anyone on paper but as the saying goes, the game isnt won on paper.

Rivers - The playoffs are completely different from the regular season. And in his first playoff game he is going against a defensive genius in BB and probably the toughest front 3 in the playoffs in Warren, Wilfork and Seymour. Expect a lot of pressure and disguised blitzing throughout the day to confuse the first yr starter.

Marty - Is he going to hold the team back with his passive playcalling?

SD defense - Certainly they have a lot of talent on that side of the ball but the secondary is suspect. Expect Brady and company to install a similar gameplan this wk that they did against the Jets - Attack the corners and the sideline to set up the run.
