On the other hand, one taze? Okay. So, Taze him in stun mode (Stun being the key word here), then while he's stunned, cuff him, load your tazer back up, and escort him away. Right? But, sometimes it just doesn't go that way.
All in all, it brings up a topic I think is a real problem. I don't know how many people agree with me on this, but I don't trust or respect the police officers of my town. And I don't believe the fault is completely mine. It's a small town and privileges are abundant. And most folks are annoyed by the protection they receive in situation that would leave a civilian in a big heaping pile of crap.
I know 2 officers in my area. One is the husband of my wife's friend, and the other is a boyfriend to one of my wife's friends. And they're both pretty decent guys, but one thing that bugs me that they both do, is checking up on everybody. Friends, family, neighbors, and I have no doubt myself, but they wouldn't admit it to my face. It just seems so invading. I know things just as similar happen everyday, but just talk to me if you want to know me. Or leave your neighbors along with they're very independent and homebody. So, what if they don't wave. And the concealed weapons is a little weird to me too. I understand it a bit, but don't go to a bar with me, and carry a gun (They both have done it), and if you're girlfriend of wife doesn't like it. Then come on be a man, and don't do it. Take it when she's not with you.
I know I'm blowing a lot of steam here, but it's a problem I think a lot of people face. There's one instance that puts me over the top though. One night I was hanging out at the bar with a good friend I've known since 1st grade. And we're pretty good friends with the owners. So, occasionally we help them close down at night. He got pretty tanked, but I only had about 4 beers between 10-1. Long drive home. So, we help clean up and don't get out of there until about 3:30. He lives only a few blocks away in his aunts house. So, I told him I walk with him to her place then probably take off. About half way there, 1.5 blocks, an officer in a car pulls up and asks what were doing. Being intelligent young men we know not to do what the dumbbutt in the video did, and cooperate as normal. We tell him where we're going, and he asks for our ID's. No problem, here ya go. Well as he's looking at our ID's, he pulls out a little black book and writes our names down. Gives us back our ID's and tells us, "You shouldn't be out this late, don't get into any trouble." What the hell?!?!? I'm now a profile in a little black book. Whatever. Tell it to the judge, right?
I'm done typing.
