I haven't been able to watch a vikings game all year long. So I was wondering for those with the whole NFL pass and stuff, what's the deal with CT not being able to get into the end zone? Is he just a bad short yardage back? Or is this just sorta coincidence and he should see the TD's coming? I would really appreciate some advice because this is pretty frustrating for me.
QB: McNabb/Carr
RB: Chester Taylor, Westbrook/ Edgerrin, Tatum
WR: D. Stallworth, A. Boldin, J. Horn/Kennison, M. Clayton.
TE: D. Clark
K: Kaeding
Def: Today Philly (Defense by committee)
It's a combination of things, but the biggest factor is that the entire offense stinks right now. He has had a few goal-line opportunities that he hasn't cashed in on, but he still gets way too few. I don't think he's on the verge of losing those carries, so I wouldn't worry too much about him, but he won't get as many opportunities to score as most #1 RB's because of that poor offense.
14 Teams, each keep 14 players QB: P. Manning, Schaub RB: MJD, Westy, C. Johnson, A. Bradshaw, J. Ringer WR: TO, Driver, J. Gage, Crabtree, J. Morgan, K. Curtis, E. Bennett, M. Sims-Walker TE: Witten, M. Lewis K: Gostkowski, J. Brown D/ST: Tenn, NE
He actually been in the endzone the last 2 weeks but they have been taken away. Last week he actually scored but they ruled he fumbled and another Viking recovered for the TD. The week before he scored on a screen only to have it called back for holding. He's close to scoring but probably will struggle today.
The Vikings don't see the red zone often enough for Chester to score. And they've been in so few goal line situations this year, I don't even know who their goal line back is.

He can't jump high enough.
Actually I think it has to do with play calling. Childress & co. have no imagination. The offense is so boring. The other team knows what's coming, they clog up the middle and, seeing no hole, Chester is usually trying to leap over the pile. He suceeded once yesterday but was stuffed a few times too.

Hard to blame the coaching staff for the inadequacies of the personnel. Brad Johnson is no good except for the dink and dunk stuff, Williamson couldn't catch a ball if it was covered in spikes and thrown into his chest, and all Marcus Robinson is good for is the jumpball in the endzone. Chester has been their only reliable offensive weapon, but it was only a matter of time before defenses realized that he was the only threat.
