What are ex-Portis owners doing?

Postby TaDa » Mon Nov 20, 2006 5:44 pm

After the pathetic performance from Betts, it's obvious that Gibbs is going to be running a RBBC now between Betts and Duckett. What are we to do? I'm guessing I'm going to be starting Travis Henry from here on out

I was expecting the first post to be something along the lines of "Sharing a beer with my buddy that drafted Alexander" ;)

There's no way in hell I was relying on Betts to carry my team for the rest of the season. Before the trading deadline I dealt away guys like Bulger and D. Jax along with some decent rbs for LJ, then I used my remaining talent to deal for Palmer as a replacement (his owner had other qb options, and needed the help elsewhere). My roster is razor thin now, and I'm hurting at wr, but I'd rather overpay and take that chance than have a starting lineup full of decent-to-good talent that wasn't good enough to match the best in our league. :-o
