I always hear 'don't pick Michael Vick cause he is injury prone, etc.' but Vick has only missed half of one season in '03 and one game in '04 and one in '05 due to injury. If that is injury prone then McNabb must now be the King of the moniker.
What about 'Fragile Freddy'? He seems to have stayed healthy this year.
Santana Moss, no injuries of note recently.
We need to revise the thinking on who actually is injury prone nowadays!
McNabb just might make the list. Espicially when he gets a major injury when nobody even touches him.
Vick missed 11 games in 03, more than half. He gets dinged and nicked a bit, but has only missed a couple games the past couple years because of it. I think a lot of people don't want to draft him because they are expecting him to completely fall apart like McNair did a couple years ago. Vick is a few years away from that, but unless he starts running less and taking care of his body, those nicks and dings will start to add up the way they did for McNair.
Fragile Freddy is still Fragile Freddy. He hasn't been injuried this year....YET. Even if he makes it through one season, it still doesn't mean you're not injury prone when you've only played 2 full seasons in 9 years. And if my memory serves me, it's toward the end of the season when he usually comes up lame, so he's not out of the woods yet. And as a matter of fact, he's on their injury list as probable with a groin.
Moss has hamstring problems. and has missed games because of it, but only a couple a year. He missed last week's game because of it.
