Did anyone "JACK" Barry once he got past the Line of Scrimmage?

I watched him make people miss for many of the Vikes games. Never saw him get lit even once. It's crazy.

LT will run some over, Barry would rather make you look like a fool.

Barry could have played 6 more years because he didn't take any hits. LT will probably run down because he takes hits.

I'd take LT for a 7 year run but I'd take Barry because you would have him for a longer period. ;-D

Interesting you should mention that! Was watching NFL Network today and they brought up Barry's name on 2 different shows - one was the top 10 most elusive runners of all time of which Barry was #1 - many of his contemporaries on defense from other teams spoke about how hard he was to catch (and how incredible he was to watch!). Another show was on all time records and whether they would ever be broken - they asked Terrell Davis about Emmitt Smith's rushing record - he said that it could probably be broken some day, he added that if Barry kept playing he would have obliterated Emmitt's record - interesting opinion from someone who knows a little about the rushing game!!!

LT is a beast and teams have to account for him, but h's got a solid supporting cast and a good OL. Sanders was surrounded by medicore players and still dominated games. Even when they lined up nine or ten in the box, he could still make moves. For his size and speed, he would make moves that seemed impossible and if Tivo were around when he was playing, you'd be rewinding to watch a run of his six or seven times a game minimum.

What does everyone think about the Run and Shoot's effect on Barry's career? Certainly it is not a great rushing offense without a TE or FB, but with all the draws and traps it played somewhat to his strength.

When I see LT make some of the moves that Sander's could make then I'll put LT over the top. To me, stats are secondary to how the person actually played. I like LT, but I'd even take Dickerson over him.
