I am the commish of a dynasty league. There is an owner who cannot make the playoffs no matter what, so what he is doing is intentioanlly losing by benching his whole team, in order to get the 1st pick of the amateur draft (currently in 3rd to last). Should I try to take action against him?
It's definitely unethical to throw games like that. He should field some kind of roster every week. You can't be allowed to just forefit intentionally.
Definately crossing the lines I think. I would probably want to go along the lines of either moving his pick back to the 10th pick or just having him forfeit the first round, then pick 2 last round picks... One thing I like about one of my baseball dynasty's is that the 7th place team(the top non playoff team at the end of the year) get's the #1 rookie pick. This is set in place mostly to prevent people from just throwing the rest of the year. I wouldn't make a rule like that in the middle of the season though.

You could field a lineup for him and lock it for the rest of the season. What he's doing is unfair to the other owners as it could be affecting who makes the playoffs.
