BIGGEST Surprise Player You Never Considered Drafting

Postby Cliff Harris » Sun Oct 12, 2003 3:41 pm

The player I NEVER considered drafting would easily be Ahman Green. He has looked great. I totally blew off the entire Packers team entering the draft, and A. Green has certainly surprised me.

As far as the best player I DID consider drafting but for one reason or another I couldn't get my hands on, that honor would go to Steve McNair. Incredible!

I took ahman green in 2nd round in two leagues. The past two years he has stomped me when i played against him, so i thought i would head him off at the pass... What is he fantasy wise? #3?

how about the kansas city defense? i know they gave up 34 points today, but they've been a good defense so far. coming into today, they were #7 in the nfl in scoring defense (about to go down), and were great in the turnover ratio. low scoring + turnovers = great fantasy defense. oh, and if your league counts special teams to the defense..dante hall.

Going into this week they were the #1 D in fantasy football and I picked them up off of FA 2 weeks ago.

Boldin. After being fooled by Pittman 2 years ago and Boston last year I did not even look at the cards roster this year.I had never even heard of him until week one

I doubt he was even drafted in any leagues. Heck, he wasn't even the first WR drafted this spring by the Cardinals. Bryant Johnson was the #1 draft choice while Boldin was the #2.

I'm sure a lot of people are kicking themselves over Jamal Lewis.

Boldin. He was actually drafted in the 18th round in my 8-man league. I thought the guy was crazy, and I still think he is.

BTW Ahman Green went in the 4th round in that league.
