So you are saying that if you were in Edge's position and watched Indy hand out contract extensions an pay raises to Manning, Harrison, and Wayne you would have taken a pay cut to stay?

Good for Edge, may as well get paid. He deserved it.

He did the right thing. They showed him no respect.

I don't think any less of his talents. It's not his fault his O-Line is horrible.

Exactly. He wasnt going to be the punching bag of the team and be the only skill player to take a pay cut. Indy will probably be out in the first round of the playoffs anyway.

Actually...I think this one is good for Leftovers. We can discuss the sorry state of the Cards' offense there. :-)

While this may just be hope, I fully expect Edge to demand the Cardinals to bring a good line this season. We may sign some good FA's and hopefully get a first round OL-pick.

edge's career in arizona can be salvaged, they just need to work on o-line.

well the jets drafted in ferguson and i'd say their o-line is doing much better than last year....though mario williams beat him on a nice move and knocked down pennington

Didn't the Jets also draft Mangold (a center) in the first also?
First the Shock, then the Pistons can the Lions be next?

Well maybe next yr.

PS I didn't lose a paper bag challenge but somehow as a Lion's fan it just feels right.

Arizona is where running backs go to die.

It's amazing that teams can still underestimate the importance of an o-line. Why spend the $$$ on a good rb, and not on the line?

Imagine Chester Taylor playing behind this line. Or James behind the Minnesota line, for that matter.
