With him you are guaranteed two things:
1) 80 to 100 yards rushing, 20 to 40 yards receiving 2) ZERO touchdowns
Thye're starting to give it to Jacobs out at the 7 and 8 yardline now, so there's even less of a chance Tiki hits paydirt.
There are so many other backs out there that can get you more points....gotta move on I think.
The reason why they don't let him run in the TDs is to make sure he doesn't get hurt... or so that was the talk at the beginning of the season. In fact, Tiki was fine with it. I think, now that he is retiring, they should give Tiki the TD runs, and try to protect Jacobs. Jacobs is going to be their feature back next year (I assume). If Tiki gets hurt, then Jacobs becomes feature back for the rest of the year... gets him more experience. If things get much worse for the Giants, they might want to think about making Jacobs the feature back anyway. Then they get to see if Jacobs can handle the job... or if they need to pick up an RB for next year.
You can add Marvin Harrison to the list of very dissapointing fantasy players. They only use that guy when the absolutely need to (ie) vs the Patriots or whatever.
Aside from that they let the bigger and younger Wayne do all the work leading up to the playoffs, and keep Harrison fresh for January.

Are you saying you didn't know this before the season? It was made very clear tiki would be getting even less oppurtunities for TDs. I guess you were hoping for a lot of 20+ yard touchdown runs.
I mean, sure he hasn't been that good, but you should have known that Brandon Jacobs was going to get the goalline touches. I would not say useless by any stretch.

No one knew he was going to be this TD useless.
People figured 5 to 8 instead of the 15 type thing.
But 1.
1 TD at week 13......no one predicted that low of a TD total.
No, but I wouldn't have been surprised in the least with 2 or 3 td's at this point. 1 is dissapointing, but hardly a big surprise, and he's getting the yardage expected of him.
