Goof of the Week - Week 12.

I can't help but think about a really "goofy" play in the OAK/SD game. 4th down, Rivers completes a pass, the receiver never gets touched and spins the ball down in happiness. Oakland picks it up, and the refs give Oakland the ball. Right? Well, Mike Carey talks it over with the other refs, and he says that the "spin" was a forward pass, so they give SD a penalty, blow the play dead, and give them a first down! HAHAHA! They scored after that and won the game.

Biggest goof of the week though was Eli throwing an inexcusable pick with 30 seconds left in a tie game against Tennessee. The Giants are in serious trouble now.

I could not believe that. I saw the replay 5 times and i'm still wondering what he was thinking. Definately the goof of the week for sure.

EASY....The Giants!!!!

They blew a 21-0 lead with 9 minutes left and Eli throws a pick in a tie game at the end......same thing happened a year ago in Seattle when it was a tie game with 20 seconds against Dallas and Bledsoe threw a pick, which gave Seattle the field position to make the game winning FG in the last seconds.

Rex Grossman can join Eli Manning in their own little "Goof" club, because they've been regulars for a while now. Rex again has a multi-turnover game. I just don't understand why he can't be like other QBs and only toss 1-2 picks. Why does he always have to turn it over 4+ more times??

The Giants win in a landslide though. When I heard that the Titans scored 21 points in 9 minutes, that was crazy.
