Depends on the amount, where I meet them, where the league is based out of, the options they give me to send them money (ex: Only by mail, or like paypal or by mail, ect).
But I'll vote yes, because with the right situation I would.
agree with aaawall. but if it was someone i had some reason to trust (answered a posting on the cafe or what not) i'd probably send up to $100. more than that, probably not. basically, i'd trust someone to the same extent that i would trust a seller on ebay.

Let me clarify the situation. Lets say money can be sent any way you wish (paypal, check, money orer, etc.), the league was using any service (cbs, yahoo, espn, etc.), the fee was under $100. The league was ran by a guy you met at the cafe.
99 Times out of 100 my answer would be no. However, If it was a fairly low amount and the person was not only from here but also a "regular" who I've "known" a while I'd consider it.

I'd also like to add this is hypothetical because I've never been in the situation I tend to stick to free Leagues as well...maybe its because they are cheaper?
I actually started a money keeper leauge with guys here in the cafe. All have paid into the paypal account and i am going to pay the winner from the paypal account. Some i know in person but half i have never met, but they were vets here at the cafe.
