Oh-my-goooodness...I knew Vandy was going to be no good for them when they signed him.

His career ended when he missed that kick against Pitt- pshycologically he was done.

It was during MNF

I dont really see why this would be more appropriate in Injuries/Updates forum. This forum seems to be the best place for this type of news.

Well, now Parcells doesn't have to worry about him anymore. They should've just stayed with Suisham; there was nothing wrong with that guy. They needed to get rid of Cuntiff, and Suisham filled in just fine last year, and could've saved them enough money to maybe get a lineman lol.

That's tough. Pro's shouldn't let one kick ruin a career. There's always next season. And for a kicker usually there's always next decade.

It's going to be interesting to see how Vanderjagt recovers from being released and what he is going to do next. He is a talented kicker, no doubt about that, but he is just a head case right now. Whenever he gets over the psychological hurdle he could definitely help out an NFL team and I'm fairly confident that some team will take a risk on Vanderjagt given the talent he showed last year, it's just a matter of time before a team gives him that chance.
